a family-friendly street Wiffle^TM Ball Tournament, was held Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 10am to 4pm.

Games were played in the 4imprint lot, just off the intersection of Commerce and Ceape Streets in downtown Oshkosh.

The weather was beautiful, although extremely windy. However, that kept the lake flies away!

Awards were presented by club president, Kathy Murphy and event chair, Andy DeWitt

The winning teams are:

Adults: First Place- Loeper's Team: Robert Loeper, Aaron Heller, Tim Foye

Second Pathos: Tom Willadsen, Peter Willadsen, Christian LaMere

Third United Lutherans: Troy Taylor, Autumn Foley, Jacob Smith

Youth: First Place- Grand Salamis: Max Antonneau, Alex Bilkey, Matt Doberstein

Second- Sluggers: Carter Footit, Kyle Schultz, Colin Krupp

Third Thirteen x Three Alex Koch, Sam Hawley, Brandon Schroeder

Proceeds from the 2010 Conquer the Concrete will be used by Oshkosh Morning Rotary for:

1) Oshkosh Morning Rotary Youth projects: Eyes of Our Children, Take 5, World Affairs Seminar, PALs and Polio Plus

2) Oshkosh Morning Rotary Club projects

3) Local Oshkosh food pantries. Players are asked to donate one canned food item as part of entry fee.

Teams of 3 people compete by hitting a Wiffle^TM Ball on a field marked on the street. Registration fee: $30 per team.
The rules of play are similar to baseball; however there is no base running.
Three outs to retire a side, per inning, six innings per game.
A time limit will be established for each game.
In case of a tie, additional innings are played. For a complete inning, both sides must bat.
